stephancox Say, fellow music lover! Are you a fan of exquisite wordplay? Do you enjoy work that ponders the weightier questions of life? Are you down with top-notch rhymes (e.g. "jejunity" with "opportunity")? Do you have a soft spot for almost heartbreakingly perfect pop constructions? Are you middle aged? (Never mind on that last one. Asking for a friend.)

If you answered yes to any of the above (and even if you didn't), you need this album. Full stop. Get it now and disappear into its exquisite bliss. Favorite track: The Critical Conjunction.

John Brownell I love this music. I love everything about it.. Every song on this album will sneak up on you. As soon as you feel like you get what Eric is doing, he shows you something new. Everything feels intentional. The arrangements and harmonies, jokes that hit perfectly *and* rhyme?! And why is it that as I LOL at a funny lyrical turn, I also feel sad? It's because even the funniest the songs have some weight. The beeboon is my spirit animal! Favorite track: Now and Again.
Get Set Go

Get Set Go Eric Lea is a masterclass of composition and songwriting that is so overbooked there's an interminable wait list. He does things lyrically, melodically, harmonically, arrangement-wise that even the most percipient, the most musically schooled might have to really dig into over repeated listens to fully understand or even get. This music is honest, clever, dark, silly, earnest and wry all bundled together a big ball of wonderful. Favorite track: Possibly Probably Positively Kate.

wormstewmelike Look Out, Octosquid! Here Comes Crocogator! (Pointless Cryptids Vol.1) is a truly refreshing musical journey. Eric Lea crafts each song to be distinct, showcasing complicated yet catchy melodies. With his classical background (he’s a classically trained viola player), Eric's compositional genius shines through as he plays and sings every thing you hear. The brilliant and often hilarious lyrics elevate this album, making it SOOOOO fun to listen to.
Favorite track: Possibly Probably Positively Kate.
